Welcome to Cleaning by Cris. These Terms and Conditions explain how we work together when you use our website or book a cleaning. By using our website or scheduling a service, you agree to these terms.
1. Our Services
Cleaning by Cris provides residential and commercial cleaning, including standard, deep, move-in / move-out, post-construction, and office cleaning. We serve homes and businesses across Metro Atlanta, within about 35 miles of Marietta, Georgia.
2. Quotes & Estimates
The instant estimate on our website is a ballpark based on square footage and the type of cleaning. Your final quote is always confirmed by Cris and may vary based on the size and condition of your space. If your space needs more work than expected, we will talk with you before going ahead.
3. Booking & Scheduling
Cleanings are by appointment. We aim to arrive on time, with an arrival window of about one hour before or after your scheduled time, since travel and earlier jobs can shift slightly. You do not need to be home; we will arrange secure access ahead of time in whatever way makes you most comfortable.
4. Access to Your Home
Please make sure our team can get in at the scheduled time. If we arrive and are unable to access your home or business, a $50 no-access fee applies to cover our travel and scheduled time.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Without that notice, a $75 cancellation fee applies. We respect your time and simply ask the same in return.
6. Payment
Payment is due once your cleaning is complete. We will email you an invoice, and we accept Cash, Zelle, and Venmo. For recurring service, your discounted rate is based on regular visits scheduled no more than 5 weeks apart. If more than 5 weeks pass between cleanings, that visit is billed at our standard rate.
7. Our Guaranteed Service
Your satisfaction comes first. If something is not right, just let us know within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will return to make it right, at no extra charge. This is our promise of Guaranteed Service.
8. Cleaning Products & Supplies
We bring our own professional cleaning products and equipment. If you prefer specific eco-friendly products, you are welcome to provide your own, or let us know ahead of time and we will pick them up and simply add the cost to your cleaning total.
9. Pets
We are a pet-friendly company and love working around your furry family. For everyone's safety, please secure any pet that may feel anxious or protective while we work.
10. Your Responsibilities
To help us do our best work, please:
- Provide safe access, working electricity, running water, functioning plumbing, and a reasonable indoor temperature
- Secure cash, jewelry, and any fragile or irreplaceable items, and mark anything you would prefer we not touch
- Let us know in advance about heavy clutter, pet waste, pests, or other conditions, so we can quote and plan accurately
11. What We Don't Do
For everyone's safety, a few things fall outside a standard cleaning, such as exterior windows, heavy lifting, biohazard cleanup, mold remediation, pest removal, and pet waste. You can see the full list on our cleaning checklists page.
12. Liability
We treat your home and belongings with great care. If you notice any concern, please tell us within 24 hours so we can address it right away. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or items that were left unsecured. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total responsibility for any claim related to a cleaning is limited to the amount paid for that cleaning.
13. Right to Refuse or Stop Service
For the safety of our team, we may decline or stop a service if we encounter unsafe conditions, hazards, or any mistreatment of our staff.
14. Non-Solicitation
Our team is the heart of Cleaning by Cris. Please do not hire or arrange cleaning directly with our team members outside of Cleaning by Cris.
15. Text Message (SMS) Consent
When you provide your phone number or text us, you agree that we may contact you by text message about your quote, scheduling, appointment reminders, and service updates. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase, and we do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.
16. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, the logo, and images, belongs to Cleaning by Cris or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright. Please do not copy or reuse it without our permission.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here with an updated date. Continued use of our website or services means you accept the current Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
